Balachandran Chullikkadinte Kavithakal

Balachandran Chullikkadu is a renowned Malayalam poet from Kerala, India. He was born on July 30, 1957 in Paravur. He completed his graduation in English literature from Maharajas college, Ernakulam. His collection of poems published are Pathinettu kavithakal,Amaavaasi, Ghazal, Maanasaantharam, Dracula etc. A collection of his complete poems, Balachandran Chullikkadinte Kavithakal was published by D.C Books,Kerala. They have also published the book of his memoirs, Chidambarasmarana. His wife is the poetess Vijayalakshmi.

He visited USA, Sweden, Denmark, Quatar, Oman and Nepal. Balachandran represented Indian poetry in the international poets meet in the international book fare at Gottenberg, Sweden. He accepted Buddhism in 1999.
Famous poet and actor Balachandran Chullikkad is writing lyrics again for films. He will pen the lyrics for the five songs in the movie Abrahaam and Lincoln. This Kalabhavan Mani-Rahman starrer directed by Pramod Pappan, will have the music by Ouseppachan.
Balachandran Chullikkad had earlier wrote lyrics for films like Sruthy and Pradakshinam, which also carried good songs.
